Application:
Water Temperature Sensor KRP1687 serves the Perkins 2206C-E13TAG2, 2506C-E15TAG2 and 2806A-E18TAG1A turbocharged diesel engines (13 L to 18 L). These engines are the heart of FG Wilson generator sets rated from 400 kVA up to 750 kVA, Massey Ferguson MF 8700 S series high-horsepower tractors, large-capacity combine harvesters (MF IDEAL 9T), 20- to 30-ton hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders and a broad range of marine auxiliary or drilling-rig power modules operating in both agricultural and heavy industrial environments worldwide.
Technical specifications:
Thread geometry M16 × 1.5 with 24 mm hex and 20 mm probe reach allows direct insertion into the thermostat housing or cylinder-head coolant gallery. Sensing range –40 °C to +140 °C via a precision NTC thermistor calibrated 2 500 Ω @ 20 °C, 300 Ω @ 80 °C, 120 Ω @ 110 °C, tolerance ±2 %.

Probe body is machined from 1.4571 (AISI 316Ti) stainless steel for complete immunity to glycol, long-life organic-acid coolants and galvanic corrosion; a copper crush-washer and fluorosilicone O-ring ensure metal-to-metal sealing up to 3 bar system pressure.
